As all expected, Leonardo Dicaprio finally won his first Academy Award, and it seems the only thing that the entire world cared about. But we all know the rule, the Oscar was entertaining for sure, in pay back, we have to watch the commercials... Probably even more than we did in Super Bowl. And my favorite commercial goes to......
Android "Rock, Paper,and Scissors"

Such a genius idea! Remember we talked about storytelling? In most of the cases, to do a great commercial, you need a story, and this is a great one. Rock, paper, scissors definitely have different characters, however, the bravery, goodness and sense of justice bring them together and be friends forever. The great thing about this ad is the story is so simple. The animated presentation and simple but strong story makes this ad has the potential to become a fairy tale .Everyone can get it without even think about it.
See? A great story doesn't mean it has to be complicated, in fact, the commercial doesn't need a complicated "hollywood" story. All that audience need, is just a simple story, with a strong message.
By the way, diversity is also what Oscar award valued last night, the issue was mentioned countless time during last night's ceremony. Don't you feel it's also a brilliant idea to put a commercial with such message into the commercial break?
This is actually not the first time that Droga 5 and Android killed the film commercial, another commercial which been launched few weeks ago, and also showed last night is "monotune"
And don't forget the "Friends furever" last year.
